In order for beeing a innovative company. Hairstyles D.C needs to have a main motive R&D  distinguishes from the other companies, to get a competitive advantage.

Our goal is to have our services at the homes of the north of Bogota. Due to the fact that it`s a new business, the  R & D should be high because the firm needs to be constantly knowing the acceptation of the customers, customer focus, etc (by surveys). For such a small company we believe that hiring an outside R&D is the best thing the firm can do because will be achieved by specialist that have a lot of experience. But from the other hand the company should invest the 1.8% of our income in R&D.

• The organization have difficulties with the R&D because we have an external contract with independent agencies.

• We used the outside R&D in order to search cost-effective, the reason is that the company is basically starting and being a new business so we have to get good prices.
